Weber started her career with Congresswoman Lois Capps where she led constituent outreach and communication campaigns focused on health care, natural resources and economic development.
  

In the philanthropic sector, she spearheaded policy initiatives for the Orfalea Foundation and facilitated data-driven, strategic public-private partnerships with an emphasis in early childhood education, environmental sustainability and disaster preparedness.

Weber served as Legislative Aide to Santa Barbara County Supervisor Doreen Farr, advising on a broad range of issues including budget, energy, agriculture, land use, tribal affairs and public health and safety.In this capacity, she helped navigate high-profile issues and managed crisis communications.  She was charged with the development and implementation of a variety of multi-departmental policies and successfully mobilized diverse constituencies and industries to ensure passage of legislation.

Throughout her time in Santa Barbara, Weber has also played a key role in a variety of local election campaigns, including coalition building and strategic messaging for candidates.  Weber has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from University of California Santa Barbara and studied Politics and International Studies at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom.  She has served on the Board for the Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center and the Santa Barbara Women’s Political Committee.

She enjoys visiting her family’s ranch in Paso Robles, traveling and yoga.
