Helena, an associate with California Strategies, assists the firm’s strategic communications and campaign teams on a variety of statewide, regional and local projects. She regularly helps clients with message development, earned media relations, stakeholder engagement and other important activities. Helena is a perceptive problem-solver whose education and experience allowed her to understand a variety of perspectives and implement effective solutions that help clients achieve their goals.

DuPont graduated in 2021 from Southern Methodist University with a BA in Finance and a minor in Economics. Immediately following graduation, she worked as a financial analyst for State Farm in the company’s investments department where she assisted in the company’s extensive commercial mortgage investments throughout the United States. In this role, she  regularly conducted market analysis and tracked demographic trends, employment, real estate supply, rents and market positioning. She also identified, analyzed and mitigated risk – all skills that serve her well for California Strategies diverse client base.

Prior to attending SMU, she grew up in Southern California and attended boarding school at The Loomis Chaffee School in the Northeast.
