Andrew Armanasco is a Senior Associate at California Strategies, where he advises organizations at the intersection of public affairs, public policy, and business operations. His work focuses on helping clients navigate complex regulatory environments, align stakeholder interests, and translate public-affairs strategy into durable business outcomes.
Andrew brings senior-level experience advising and operating within highly regulated and reputation-sensitive industries, including agriculture, land use, finance, wellness, media, and economic development. Prior to joining California Strategies, he worked at Armanasco Public Relations, where he advised executive teams and institutional clients on issue positioning, stakeholder engagement, and growth strategies operating within political and regulatory contexts.
Previously, Andrew served as Director of Business Development at Soar Media, a global marketing and advertising company, where he led enterprise growth strategy, strategic partnerships, and client expansion across domestic and international markets. He also founded ADA Consulting, advising companies operating in regulated cannabis and wellness markets on cultivation strategy, manufacturing operations, compliance frameworks, and market entry, including international projects across Europe requiring coordination among regulators, investors, and operating teams.
Andrew was also a Partner at Nexus Consulting Agency, where his work focused on technology deployment and investment strategy within the entertainment industry, including large-scale festivals and venue-based operations across the United States.
Earlier in his career, Andrew held senior operating leadership roles in the fitness and wellness industry, overseeing multi-state club operations, sales performance, talent development, and leadership training across geographically distributed organizations.
In addition to his professional work, Andrew is active in civic, agricultural, and public-safety leadership. He serves on the Board of Monterey County Sheriff’s Advisory Council, is a member of the Carmel-by-the-Sea Government Affairs Committee and belongs to the Monterey County Cattlemen’s Association and the California Cattlemen’s Association.
Andrew is a U.S. Army Infantry and Iraq War combat veteran. He graduated first out of 200 soldiers at Fort Benning and served as an Infantry Squad Leader in Iraq.
He studied Psychology and Kinesiology at the University of Tulsa, where he played collegiate football. Andrew lives in Carmel Valley, California, with his wife, Alexandra.
