Camden McEfee currently serves as Managing Partner of California Strategies, LLC, where he provides strategic advice and advocacy services to help clients achieve their public sector goals. McEfee works effectively with business and government leaders alike on issues such as infrastructure, education, economic development, and business regulations.
McEfee joined California Strategies in 1999 and has since helped engineer the firm’s growth from its early beginnings to its current status as one of California’s most preeminent public affairs firms. Over the last several years, McEfee was California Strategies’ Managing Partner.
Prior to his work at California Strategies, McEfee served as Chief Deputy Cabinet Secretary to Governor Pete Wilson, serving as the chief liaison to the state agencies and departments that comprised the executive branch of state government. His broad policy portfolio included oversight of general business issues, economic development, and major state procurement programs.
McEfee graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) and remains an active alumnus. While serving as Managing Partner of California Strategies, McEfee created and developed an applied research internship project which allowed USC students exposure to client issues and the encouragement to develop policy solutions.
McEfee resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and two daughters.
