David Ramirez is an Associate at California Strategies, where he supports clients on environmental, energy, water, Tribal affairs, and technology policy matters. He regularly monitors and assists clients in proceedings before the California Public Utilities Commission. He previously interned with Starbucks Workers United, AFSCME Local 3299, and the Office of U.S. Senator Alex Padilla. He currently serves as an appointee of Governor Newsom to the Associate Degree for Transfer Intersegmental Implementation Committee.
Ramirez earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography/Environmental Studies and Labor Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles, and is a graduate of the Coro Fellowship program. He is based in Sacramento.
