On October 30, 2024, California Strategies’ Lisa Gritzner took the stage at the Valley Industry and Commerce Association’s (VICA) After Dark event, held at the Airtel Plaza Hotel. Gritzner had the honor of moderating a dynamic Q&A session featuring two prominent figures in Los Angeles’ aviation industry: John Ackerman, CEO of Los Angeles World Airports, and Jacob Haik, General Manager of Van Nuys Airport.
The session provided a unique opportunity for attendees to gain insights into the latest developments at LA’s airports and the impact of these changes on the surrounding communities and industries. Ackerman and Haik discussed a variety of topics, ranging from airport infrastructure improvements and environmental sustainability initiatives to economic development and future growth plans.
Gritzner facilitated a lively discussion, expertly guiding questions from the audience to address both high-level strategic concerns and local community interests. The event underscored VICA’s commitment to connecting local leaders with influential voices shaping the future of the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles at large.
As an organization dedicated to advocating for the business community in the Valley, VICA’s After Dark event continues to be a valuable platform for fostering dialogue and collaboration.
