Benjamin Haddad is PIC’s chairman of the board of directors, and we are delighted to share that he is staying on for a second term.
Why it matters: The knowledge of its board strengthens PIC’s ability and capacity to contribute to solving some of the region’s biggest challenges, such as the lack of affordable housing, community wealth inequities, climate change, and aging/inefficient infrastructure.
Ben Haddad excels in leadership at all levels of government.
- He has previously served in senior staff capacities in Washington, D.C., Sacramento, and San Diego. His leadership abilities were honed while serving as Chief of Staff to a congressman and a mayor and as a senior official to a former California Governor.
- He also has extensive private and nonprofit sector experience as a Fortune 500 company executive and the leader of a major Chamber of Commerce.
- Ben joined California Strategies, a full-service government relations firm, in 2006 as a principal and established the firm’s office in San Diego. Since then, Ben has worked with clients spanning the economic spectrum, from homeless service providers to major manufacturers, high technology, and sports innovators.
The bottom line: PIC is lucky to have Ben as its leader. Thank you, Ben!
