Janice Rutherford Lim Awards 130 Medical Degrees at California University of Science & Medicine

A founding supporter as county supervisor, Rutherford Lim now serves on the university’s Board of Trustees

Janice Rutherford Lim participated in the California University of Science and Medicine’s fourth commencement ceremony, where 130 new medical doctors received their degrees.

A longtime advocate for education and healthcare access, Rutherford Lim played a pivotal role in establishing the university through a public-private partnership during her tenure on the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors.  The mission of the California University of Science and Medicine is to create doctors from the Inland Empire who then serve the communities in the Inland Empire.

She now continues her commitment to the institution as a member of its Board of Trustees, helping to shape its mission and support future generations of physicians. Her presence at the ceremony underscores her ongoing dedication to community-focused medical education and workforce development.
