California Strategies’ Lauren Wesche recently attended Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento’s 40th Anniversary Gala, joining hundreds of community and business leaders to celebrate four decades of impact. The sold-out event brought together members of the Capitol community in support of affordable housing, raising more than $575,000—a record-breaking total for the organization.
Wesche’s participation reflects California Strategies’ ongoing commitment to civic engagement and community partnership across California. The evening recognized Habitat’s long history of building homes and hope for local families, as well as the collective efforts of Sacramento’s public and private sectors to expand access to safe, affordable housing.
