Our Partner, Victor Franco, meets with the California Congressional delegation in Washington DC to discuss the Flying Leathernecks Aviation Museum and its proposed move from Miramar to Irvine, CA.

Meetings included Senator Alex Padilla, Rep Katie Porter and Rep Lou Correa as they discussed delivering some amazing exhibits and programming to residents, students, college students and veteran groups. “Flying Leathernecks Aviation Museum (FLAM) CEO Brigadier General Michael Aguilar (USMC, ret) and California Strategies Partner (and FLAM Board Member) Victor Franco, Jr. headed to DC for meetings with members of the California Congressional delegation to discuss the FLAM’s move from Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar to Great Park in the City of Irvine. Meetings included Senator Alex Padilla, Rep Katie Porter and Rep Lou Correa. The Museum Board will be working with Members of Congress over the coming year as the museum is constructed, to deliver some amazing exhibits and programming to residents, students, college students and veteran groups. Before heading home, General Aguilar and Victor took a detour and briefly visited with a few friends at The White House. Nice ending to a great trip to DC!”
